July Studio Update
Jul 11, 2020
The Wildlife Exhibition at CSTUDIOS Art Gallery in Newcastle has now come to a close. Thank you to all those who came along to support me and the gallery.
During the exhibition I completed a Wombat painting and started on a Kangaroo. I had so much fun painting fur. The Kangaroo has not had much attention lately as I have been busy with a few other things as it is now school holidays.
It is also very cold in my studio, which makes the title of this email quite apt. I am missing the warmth of the gallery!
'Wilbur' the Wombat is now complete and is now available for purchase through CSTUDIOS Art Gallery in Newcastle along with a few other of my artworks. To view which artworks CSTUDIOS Art Gallery has for sale see my website here.
Over the last few weeks I have also been working with Zone Printing Newcastle editing images of some artworks and getting them print ready, which required photographing, doing test prints and colour correcting to get them as close to the original artwork as possible. I am so happy with how the above artworks turned out. There are now a few new artworks ready and are now available for purchase on my website as canvas or fine art paper prints. The Lorikeet painting is also the July print giveaway.
Once I am back in my studio, I will be thinking about what my next few artworks might be. I have a few artworks in the planning stages of which I am excited about... Kookaburras, Magpies, and souring Wedge-tailed Eagles and I think some inland Australian Parrots would be lovely to explore.
In the meantime, I hope everyone is well and managing through these times.
Warm Regards,
Ebony
